Color Guard

*This is the "change of command".. they pass the STB Flag from the CSM, to the departing Commander, to our Brigade Commander, to our new Commander and back to the CSM. Its how they show they're handing over the troops.. its really my favorite part of these things...

So Friday we had our final Change of Command. Our Battalion Commander, LTC Darby, is leaving for her new station and we got our new Commander, LTC Sliman. We're happy about our new command. Our Brigade Commander, Battalion Comander, and Company Commander are all family oriented. We think this will help out ALOT, only 1 Commander out of our old 3 Commanders had family. It really makes a difference. Preston was part of the Color Guard for this Change of Command. He received a coin from the Battalion CSM. Its a cool looking coin, we didnt know he would be receiving one so we were unable to get pictures.
